Built by a trader who was tired of losing alone.
TradeIQ started as a personal project. Not a startup idea. Not a business plan. A tool I needed and couldn't find anywhere.
The thing about trading alone
I've been trading for years — options day trades, ES and NQ futures, funded accounts. I've studied SMC, ICT concepts, MACD, EMA — the whole catalog. But knowing the theory and executing in real time are two completely different things.
The hardest part wasn't finding setups. It was staying disciplined while watching them unfold. The moment price starts moving against you, everything you know about managing risk goes out the window. You need someone in your corner calling it out — but at $200 an hour, a real mentor isn't practical every day.
Why I built TradeIQ
I wanted something that could watch my charts with me, call out what it saw, and speak it aloud so I could stay focused on execution rather than analysis. Something that got smarter the more I used it — that actually knew my tendencies.
The tools I tried were either generic AI chatbots with no real trading context, or expensive subscription services aimed at institutions. Nothing in the middle. Nothing built for an individual trader who just wants sharper execution.
So I built it. TradeIQ started as a screen-watching tool I ran during my own sessions. The voice alerts. The setup recognition. The journal that fills itself. Then I added the Strategy Lab for the times I wanted to think through a new setup. Then the Jargon Breaker because I kept Googling the same terms. Then Rex's Brain — a coach that remembered what I was working on across every session.
What we believe
Most traders don't lose because of bad setups
They lose because of bad execution — entering too early, holding too long, revenge trading after a loss. The setups are usually fine. The behavior isn't. That's what we're trying to fix.
AI coaching should know you
Generic AI responses are useless in trading. The coach should know your tendencies, your setups, your strengths and weaknesses. Every session should build on the last one.
The best tool is one you actually use
Complex platforms with 40 features nobody uses don't help you trade better. We focus on a small set of tools that fit directly into your trading day, not around it.
Where we're headed
TradeIQ is still early. We're a small team building something we personally use every day. Every feature we ship is something that's been annoying us in our own trading.
The roadmap includes better journal analytics, prop firm challenge tracking, a strategy leaderboard so the community's best setups bubble up, and deeper personalization as the AI learns more about how you trade. We're not trying to build Bloomberg. We're trying to build the coaching layer every active trader needs but can't afford.
